In the bustling rhythm of the day-to-day, Lake & Co. offers a solution for those seeking both quality and convenience when it comes to mealtime. Our prepared meals service, based in Yarmouth, presents an array of fresh and seasonal options to stock your fridge and freezer on busy days.

About the Menu

A La Carte
We create a themed menu each week of different proteins, veggie sides, grains & starches, desserts, baked goods, and soups. Everything is cohesive as far as cultures, flavors, and what’s in season. You’ll receive the themed menu via email weekly to place your order for the following Friday.
Frozen Favorites
Enjoy comforting classics like chicken parm, lasagna, and house-made meatballs from our Frozen prepared meals selection.
Brunch & Sweet Treats
We always carry a wide selection of homemade baked cookies, quiches, English muffins, and more. Perfect for brunch gatherings or a relaxed Sunday morning in your PJs.

As the seasons change, you’ll see some changes but we’ll always keep our customer favorites like our whole roasted hen, homemade soups, chicken pot pie, eggplant parm, french baguette garlic bread, chicken and ancho pepper enchiladas, and turkey bolognese.

Placing an Order

The first step is making sure you’re signed up for the weekly menu released every Friday. The window to order opens every week from Friday at 5:00 pm until Monday at midnight. This is a pre-order for the following Friday. You can choose when you order if you would prefer delivery or pickup. Delivery pricing will be calculated by distance from Yarmouth. Pickups are available from 11-6 pm at at 881 Route 1, North Yarmouth Maine. Delivery is from 11-4. We will send you a text after we deliver if no one answers the door.

Sending Food To a Loved One

Nothing says “thinking of you” more than a homecooked meal. Take Home by Lake & Co. is perfect for sending food to a loved one when you can’t be there to cook for them yourself.

We love nothing more than being able to bring food to your loved ones who need it, partaking in someone’s meal train, or delivering a package of goodies to a family that has just grown by one more.

If you are sending prepared meals to someone, make sure to add a personalized note card! We are happy to write a message to include with your order.

How to Prepare

Every dish comes with heating instructions that are rarely more complicated than “Remove the lid and heat in an oven at 350 for 25 minutes”. If you need more direction, reach out to us.

How do I place an order for Take Home by Lake & Co. meals?
Orders can be placed directly through our website. Simply navigate to the “Take Home by Lake & Co.” section, browse our weekly menu, and add the items to your cart you’d like to enjoy. Follow the prompts to confirm your pick-up or delivery preferences.
What is the deadline for placing a Take Home order?
Weekly ordering opens on Fridays at 5:00 pm and closes midnight on the following Monday. This allows us to order only what we need and eliminate waste.
Is there a minimum order requirement for delivery?
Yes, we have a minimum order requirement of $50 for delivery services. This helps us efficiently manage our delivery routes and ensure timely service to all our customers.
What are the delivery fees?
Delivery fees vary based on your location. Fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. We strive to keep delivery costs reasonable to make our meals accessible to everyone.
Which areas do you deliver to?
We typically deliver within a 50 mile radius from our Yarmouth address. Out of our radius? Please inquire.
I ordered pick-up, but now I need it delivered.
Send an email to kate@lakeandco.me and most likely we can fit you into our delivery schedule. We will email you an invoice with our delivery fee.
What are the pick-up times?
Pick-up times are available from 11 am to 6 pm on Fridays.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We will write allergens in the menu descriptions. While we aim to cater to various dietary needs, we recommend reviewing the meal descriptions on our menus or contacting us directly for more detailed information regarding ingredients and preparation.
How long do the meals last?
Our refrigerated items and baked goods will stay fresh for 3-5 days when stored properly, and frozen items will last 8-12 weeks.
What if I need to cancel my order?

I live on an island in Casco Bay. Can you deliver to me?
Yes. We send out orders on the noon ferry leaving Portland. Freight charges will be charged to your account. Please provide those details with your order.
